Formation of Galactic Disks. II. The Physical Drivers of Disk Spin-up
Using a representative sample of Milky Way (MW)–like galaxies from the TNG50 cosmological simulation, we investigate physical processes driving the formation of galactic disks. A disk forms as a result of the interplay between inflow and outflow carrying

RAMUS: Printable, Mechanically‐Tunable and Biodegradable Cellulose‐Mediated Composites
Ramus, a Latin term meaning “branch,” develops large‐scale, ambient conditions additively manufactured, and biodegradable cellulose‐based biomaterial composites able to mediate their structural capacity from micro to macroscale. Abstract Ramus develops large‐scale, ambient conditions additively manufactured, and biodegradable cellulose‐based ...

Chronic wounds remain a major therapeutic challenge, with VEGF applications hindered by rapid degradation and systemic side effects. Here, a dual‐responsive chitosan–gelatin hydrogel is reported, functionalized with dopamine, glutathione, and MMP‐sensitive motifs, enabling spatiotemporally controlled VEGF release and enhanced biocompatibility, thereby ...

An Injection‐Molded Modified Silicone Rubber for Cancer‐on‐Chip Applications
This study describes the characterization and application of an injection‐molded functionalized PDMS fluidic insert for the commercially available Micronit system. Modified PDMS can accommodate cell culture and is able to covalently bind proteins for long‐lasting coatings under flow‐conditions.
