In macrophage‐myofibroblast transition, upregulated NNMT depletes S‐Adenosylmethionine (SAM) and nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide(NAD+), thereby triggering epigenetic reprogramming via Histone H3 Lysine 27 acetylation (H3K27ac) accumulation at the promoter region of master transcription factor Prrx1.

ABSTRACT This study evaluated the preservative potential of essential oils (EOs) in bakery products by identifying fungal contaminants in bread, testing the in vitro antifungal activity of a mixture of cinnamon, clove, and bay leaf EOs, and assessing their effectiveness in extending shelf life. Fungal identification revealed the presence of Penicillium,

Rotation Curves of Galaxies: A New Theoretical Approach and Comparison With Observations
Observational results on the rotation curve of a rotating galaxy are used in thought experiments. A binary system is inserted in the galaxy, and equations for radial accelerations of the two bodies are found. Similarly, a single body is inserted in a multicomponent galaxy, and an equation for radial acceleration of the body is discussed.

This chapter examines galaxies in some detail from a largely theoretical perspective. Along the way, one must bear in mind that, although the described progression of events in this chapter is plausible, at this time it is only a conjecture in the minds ...

Projection effects on pressure profiles: A case study of the Virgo replica [PDF]
An accurate mass calibration of galaxy clusters is a crucial step towards precise constraints on the cosmological parameters σ8 and Ωm from clusters. Cluster masses can be estimated assuming hydrostatic equilibrium, but several physical and observational

We examine the weak cosmic censorship conjecture (WCCC) violation by throwing a charged and rotating test particle into a Kerr–Newman–modified gravity black hole (KN–MOG BH). The result depends on several factors, such as the relative sign of the particle’s charge and its direction of rotation with respect to black hole (BH).

Devouring the Centaurus A Satellites: Modeling Dwarf Galaxies with Galacticus
For the first time, systematic studies of dwarf galaxies are being conducted throughout the Local Volume, including the dwarf satellites of the nearby giant elliptical galaxy Centaurus A (NGC 5128).

Heavy Metal Contamination in Chocolates and Candies: Sources, Health Risks, and Analytical Insights
The presence of heavy metals in chocolates and candies poses growing public health concerns, particularly for children who are frequent consumers. This review consolidates evidence on the occurrence, sources, toxicological impacts, and analytical monitoring of metals, including Pb, Cd, Hg, As, Cr, Ni, and Al, in confectionery products.
