MIM: a multifunctional scaffold protein
The protein "missing in metastasis", known as MIM, has been characterised as an actin-binding scaffold protein that may be involved in cancer metastasis. In this paper, we summarise the literature surrounding the role of MIM in actin and membrane dynamics and in signalling to transcription via the sonic hedgehog pathway.

Last decades great effort has been put in the development of 3D capacitors. These capacitors are used for RF decoupling and should therefore have a high capacitance density associated with a sufficient breakdown voltage. Increased capacitance densities have been achieved by exploring the use of the third dimension in silicon, e.g.

Comparison criteria for management information models (MIMs): a way of analyzing MIMs
Proceedings of NOMS '96 - IEEE Network Operations and Management Symposium, 2002The paper presents a set of criteria which can be used for comparing, and in general analyzing, GDMO-based management information models (MIMs) designed for network configuration modeling. The criteria have been obtained by applying three selected MIMs, namely the NMF network model, the ITU-T M.3100 model and the ETSI GOM model, to a simple example SDH
