The importance of previous season performance on world-class 200- and 400-m individual medley swimming

open access: yesBiology of Sport, 2021
We examined the degree to which 200-m and 400-m Individual Medley (IM) performance was related to sprint-, middle- and long-distance events before a swimmer reached a Top-20 world ranking. A retrospective longitudinal modelling study was conducted.

“Oh pedaço de mim, oh metade amputada de mim…"

open access: yesSaúde em Redes, 2018
Este artigo foi produzido a partir da vivência de trabalhadores/pesquisadores junto a mulheres em situação de grande vulnerabilidade que, em nome uma suposta “proteção” à criança, tem negado o direito de viver sua maternidade. São mães órfãs de seus próprios filhos, sequestrados, muitas vezes antes mesmo da primeira mamada, em maternidades de várias ...

Critical Role of Polymer Gate Dielectrics on the Charge Carrier Transport in Perovskite Field‐Effect Transistors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Charge transport in 2D tin perovskite FETs is shown to be governed by dielectric interface behavior. Polar polymer dielectrics induce dipolar disorder that localizes carriers, whereas nonpolar polymers suppress trapping and enable superior charge transport, ensuring stable and reliable transistor operation. ABSTRACT Understanding the role of interfaces

Unlocking Photodetection Mode Switching from a Simple Lateral Design

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A simple lateral 2D perovskite photodetector capable of switching among transient, continuous, and dual transient/continuous photoresponse modes is achieved by integrating photoconductive effects with capacitive coupling from the SiO2/Si substrate. Such light‐programmable photodetection mode switching enables triple‐channel information transmission and

Ultracompact plasmonic racetrack resonators in metal-insulator-metal waveguides

open access: yes, 2010
Among various plasmonic waveguides, the metal-insulator-metal (MIM) type is the most promising for true subwavelength photonic integration. To date, many photonic devices based on MIM waveguides have been investigated, including resonators. However, most
