Multilayered Digital Microfluidic Chip for Cell‐Based Assays
A multilayered digital microfluidic (mDMF) chip architecture is introduced to improve throughput and robustness in cell‐based assays. By multilayering electrode components and dielectric layers on glass, this design significantly reduces actuation voltage, maintains reliability, and enables expansion of the operational area with minimum current leakage.

Theory of Regions for Control Synthesis without Computing Reachability Graph
This paper addresses the design of Petri net (PN) supervisor using the theory of regions for forbidden state problem with a set of general mutual exclusion constraints. In fact, as any method of supervisory control based on reachability graph, the theory

Transducers convert physical signals into electrical and optical representations, yet each mechanism is bounded by intrinsic trade‐offs across bandwidth, sensitivity, speed, and energy. This review maps transduction mechanisms across physical scale and frequency, showing how heterogeneous integration and multiphysics co‐design transform isolated ...

Molecular Inks for the Development of Complex 3D In‐Mold Electronics
Molecular inks (MINKs) enable the fabrication of thermoformed 3D circuits by decoupling the forming and metallization steps. Following thermoforming, intense pulsed‑light or thermal processing converts the patterned MINKs into complex 3D conductive tracks with improved stretchability and electrical performance, advancing low‑cost, high‑performance in ...

MIRAD: A Method for Interpretable Ransomware Attack Detection
In the face of escalating crypto-ransomware attacks, we introduce MIRAD, a novel dynamic detection method. MIRAD leverages machine learning to continuously monitor API calls and registry entries, detecting ransomware at all stages of infection while ...

Spacer‐Less Substrate‐Integrated Metasurface for Near‐Unity Terahertz Absorption
ABSTRACT Although conventional metal‐insulator‐metal (MIM) terahertz (THz) absorbers can provide near‐unity absorption, their multilayer stacks inevitably introduce additional thickness, mass, and residual stress, which limit their compatibility with THz thermal sensing platforms.
