Internal wideband monopole antenna for MIMO access‐point applications in the WLAN/WIMAX bands
Microwave and Optical Technology Letters, 2008AbstractA three‐antenna MIMO system capable of generating a wide operating bandwidth of 2400–5850 MHz for access‐point applications is introduced. The proposed design is based on a bent metal‐plate monopole antenna with a compact size of 20 × 20 × 14 mm3.

Eight-element MIMO antenna array for 5G/Sub-6GHz indoor micro wireless access points
2018 International Workshop on Antenna Technology (iWAT), 2018An eight-element multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) antenna applied for 5G and sub-6GHz indoor wireless access points is studied in this paper. The proposed antenna array supports 4 × 4 MIMO in the LTE bands 42/43/46 (3400–3600 MHz, 3600–3800 MHz, and 5150–5925 MHz). Four fork-like electric dipoles disposed at the corners of the system circuit board

AbstractChannel estimation (CE) and spectral efficiency (SE) are two processes that have a major influence on system performance, especially in a more practical channel scenario with spatially correlated Rayleigh fading. During this work, we address the uplink phase CE process and the SE for spatially correlated Rayleigh fading in a cell‐free (CF ...

A Quad-Band Eight-Antenna Array for 5G/WLAN MIMO in Micro Wireless Access Points
2018 IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation & USNC/URSI National Radio Science Meeting, 2018An eight-element multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) antenna array for 5G/WLAN micro wireless access points is proposed in this paper. The proposed MIMO antenna is formed by integrating eight identical antenna elements. For each array element, four operation bands, namely, LTE bands 42/43 (3400–3800 MHz), 4.9-GHz band (4800–5000 MHz) and 5.2-GHz WLAN
