Optimal space-time codes for the MIMO amplify-and-forward cooperative channel
In this work, we extend the non-orthogonal amplify-and-forward (NAF) cooperative diversity scheme to the MIMO channel. A family of space-time block codes for a half-duplex MIMO NAF fading cooperative channel with N relays is constructed.

Concurrent Sensing and Communications Based on Intelligent Metasurfaces
An IM‐assisted concurrent ISAC scheme to exploit the otherwise wasted energy inherent in high‐order 16‐APSK DAM, to realize wireless gesture recognition thereby enabling efficient resource sharing for C‐ISAC. This architecture offers promising opportunities for next‐generation mobile internet, embodied intelligence, smart homes, smart factories, and ...

Tunable Topological Directional Supercoupler and Applications in THz On‐Chip Communication
A topological directional supercoupler is demonstrated, enabling dual‐channel 50 Gbps on‐chip terahertz communication with phototunable power splitting ratios. The achieved sub‐wavelength scale coupling area, sharp waveguide bends, and momentum‐conserved coupling process allow for ultra‐compact and efficient terahertz topological photonic integrated ...

Low SNR Capacity of Noncoherent Fading Channels
Discrete-time Rayleigh fading single-input single-output (SISO) and multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) channels are considered, with no channel state information at the transmitter or the receiver. The fading is assumed to be stationary and correlated

Robust Spectral and Energy Efficiency Tradeoff for RIS‐Aided Multi‐User Communication
In this work, an RIS‐aided multi‐user network with imperfect CSI is investigated. Correspondingly, we focus on balancing SE and EE through the collaborative design of the base station (BS)'s precoding matrix and the RIS's phase shifts, which consider the transmit power budget and the channel uncertainties constraints.

A Massive Grant‐Free Random Access Scheme Based on Spectrum Sensing and Preamble Delay
This paper introduces cognitive radio (CR) and preamble delay (PD) to reduce access collisions, together with non‐orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) to improve spectrum efficiency, and thus proposes an efficient CR‐NOMA‐PD‐based massive grant‐free random multiple access scheme.

Phased array antennas in MIMO receiver
In this paper, a computer simulation of a MIMO system comprising phased array antennas (PAA) in all receiving branches is presented. In order to examine the system performance under relatively realistic conditions, a ray-tracing simulator was applied to generate a baseband channel impulse response matrix H.

An Energy‐Tiered Clustering‐Based Blind Detector for RIS‐RSM Systems
This paper proposes an energy‐tiered structure initialization (ETSI) algorithm for blind detection in reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS)‐assisted spatial modulation systems. By decomposing the modulation constellation into multiple energy tiers and leveraging structured prototype initialization with tier‐normalized refinement, ETSI effectively ...
