Polar Subcodes for MIMO Systems
Polar-coded multiple-input multiple-output systems are investigated. An advanced receiver implementing joint list decoding of polar codes and QR- and MMSE-based detectors is proposed. The approximate and exact path metrics are derived for joint list decoder of polar codes.

Sliding Mode Control in Aerospace Applications: A Survey
ABSTRACT Sliding mode control (SMC) enjoys robustness to matched and unmatched (in the case of minimum phase input‐output dynamics) bounded perturbations, and finite time convergence. Second‐order and higher‐order sliding mode control systems (2‐SMC/HOSMC) retain all the advantages of sliding mode control, but in addition can be applied to systems of ...

High‐Order Sliding‐Mode control for MIMO Systems
ABSTRACT This paper extends Lyapunov‐based homogeneous high‐order sliding‐mode control to a class of uncertain non‐square multi‐input multi‐output (MIMO) nonlinear systems with a well‐defined vector relative degree. The considered systems admit a normal‐form representation with an uncertain but full‐row‐rank input‐gain matrix.

Feedback Linearisation with State Constraints
ABSTRACT Feedback Linearisation (FBL) is a widely used technique that applies feedback laws to transform input‐affine nonlinear control systems into linear control systems, allowing for the use of linear controller design methods such as pole placement.

Upper Capacity Bounds of MIMO Wireless Systems Through Fading Channels
This paper investigates the upper capacity bounds of MIMO systems with correlation and antenna selection techniques in general fading environments. With Antenna Selection techniques, the increased hardware complexity due to multiple antennas and large ...

ABSTRACT In privacy protection of control systems, a trade‐off between control performance and privacy level is often pointed out. Our goal in this paper is to improve this trade‐off by shaping the frequency of noise added for privacy protection when the control objective is to track a reference signal, which is taken as a piece of information whose ...

ABSTRACT Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite constellations offer unprecedented opportunities for global broadband connectivity but pose significant beamforming challenges due to rapid platform motion and stringent onboard hardware constraints. Fully digital architectures, while optimal in theory, remain impractical for satellite payloads, motivating ...
