Chemical composition of ambient aerosol, ice residues and cloud droplet residues in mixed-phase clouds: single particle analysis during the Cloud and Aerosol Characterization Experiment (CLACE 6) [PDF]
Two different single particle mass spectrometers were operated in parallel at the Swiss High Alpine Research Station Jungfraujoch (JFJ, 3580 m a.s.l.) during the Cloud and Aerosol Characterization Experiment (CLACE 6) in February and March 2007.

Micro‐Raman spectroscopy is applied to characterize corrosion products in a recycled‐based MgO–316L steel composite anode after molten salt electrolysis. A depth‐dependent Fe–O/Fe–Al–O layer sequence of magnetite, hercynite, and an Al‐doped magnetite transition zone is identified.

Nanostructured Wood Mineral Composite
AbstractResearches aim to significantly increase the operational properties of the wood materials without compromising on their environmental significance. The possibility of implementing a fundamentally new approach involving filling the free space in the wood fiber structure with such mineral filler particles as nanosized basalt is shown.

In this work, a magnetic core‐shell catalyst (HOF‐on‐Fe3O4/ZIF‐67) is successfully synthesized, consisting of a metal–organic framework (ZIF‐67) with magnetic Fe3O4 as the core and a porous hydrogen‐bonded organic framework (HOF) as the shell. The catalyst efficiently activated peroxymonosulfate, resulting in rapid and effective removal of water ...

Short term N2O losses in urine patches: a 15N labelling study [PDF]
These results show that emission of N2O is greater when N is added as urine compared with mineral N. This can probably be explained by the presence of organic carbon compounds in the urine, which may fuel the N2O production.

The mineralogy, petrology, and composition of anomalous eucrite Emmaville [PDF]
The Emmaville eucrite is a relatively poorly studied basaltic achondrite with an anomalous oxygen isotope signature. In this study, we report comprehensive mineralogical, petrographic, and geochemical data from Emmaville in order to understand its ...
