Scandium (Sc)‐doped AlCoCrFeMo HEA coatings are fabricated via flame spraying with 0.1, 0.3, and 0.5 wt% Sc additions. Among these, the HEA‐Sc0.3 coating exhibits the highest corrosion resistance, indicated by a more positive corrosion potential and lower current density.

The Heavy Mineral Map of Australia: Vision and Pilot Project [PDF]
We describe a vision for a national-scale heavy mineral (HM) map generated through automated mineralogical identification and quantification of HMs contained in floodplain sediments from large catchments covering most of Australia. The composition of the

Radiation assessment of the loparite ore enrichment tailings from the Umbozero mine [PDF]
The development of the mining industry inevitably has a negative impact on the environment. Sources of pollution of soils, air and water bodies can come from both operating enterprises and abandoned mines and tailings ponds. Samples of the surface layer (

Does molybdenum and cobalt foliar spray mitigate nitrate starvation and ammonium deprivation stress?
Knowledge about the nutritional balance at the initial phenological stage is mandatory to overcome limitations on nutritional availabilities required by the plant species. However, little is elucidated about nitrate (NO3-) and ammonium (NH4+) deprivation

A Dislocation Perspective on Strength and Toughness in Ceramics
Dislocations in ceramics enjoy a long but yet under‐appreciated history. The three research waves for dislocations in ceramics highlight the topic evolution over the last 90 years. This review focuses on the impact of dislocation on strength and toughness in ceramics.
