A multifunctional hydroxyapatite (HAp) coating integrated with silver‐gallium liquid metal nanoparticles (HAp‐Ag‐GaNPs) exhibits dual antibacterial and osteogenic properties. It effectively inhibits Gram‐positive and Gram‐negative bacteria, including resistant strains, while enhancing bone regeneration.

The Equality of Sub-Surface Minerals [PDF]
Sub-surface minerals are in most cases considered to be the proprietary right of a country should those minerals be found within its borders. PRO169 (Indigenous Peoples’ Rights, International Labour Organization) has recorded instances where the private ...

How large are departures from lithostatic pressure? Constraints from host-inclusion elasticity [PDF]
Minerals trapped as inclusions within other host minerals will develop non-lithostatic pressures during both prograde and retrograde metamorphism because of the differences between the thermo-elastic properties of the host and inclusion phases.

“Writing” Crystal Phases in Amorphous Calcium Carbonate via Laser‐Induced Patterned Transformations
Laser‐induced crystallization enabling the patterning of amorphous calcium carbonate into various distinct phases is introduced. This approach provides spatial control over polymorph selection, both crystalline and amorphous, inspired by biomineralization pathways.
