The corrosion performance of AlSi7Mg and AlSi10Mg alloys produced through selective laser melting (SLM) was examined under compressive stress in a chloride environment. Electrochemical analyses, including open‐circuit potential (OCP), potentiodynamic polarization (CPP), and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), were complemented by scanning ...

Mining the mind, minding the mine [PDF]
The program comprehension and mining software repository communities are, in practice, two separate research endeavors. One is concerned with what's happening in a developer's mind, while the other is concerned with what's happening in a team. And yet, implicit in these fields is a common goal to make better software and the common approach of ...

La sicurezza nelle miniere sarde tra Otto e Novecento: cosa ci raccontano le statistiche
The interpretation provided by the historiography in the field of security in Sardinian mines in the Italy of the second industrial revolution is darkened, an interpretation that makes the mine a very insecure place, marked by a dripping of tragedies and

Low‐Angle Grain Boundaries and Re‐Segregation in Single‐Crystalline Ni‐Base Superalloys
This work demonstrates that Re‐segregation at low‐angle grain boundaries (LAGBs) in Ni‐base superalloys is influenced by misorientation angle. Advanced microscopy and atom probe tomography reveal that higher misorientation angles increases Re‐segregation.

A unified research data management framework for heterogeneous materials data is presented. The system integrates multimodal datasets using ontologies and knowledge graphs, enabling interoperability and FAIR (findable, accessible, interoperable, reusable) data principles. By linking data across scales and workflows, it supports reproducible, Artifitial

The temperature dependence of fatigue behavior in nickel‐based superalloys is investigated through high‐resolution measurements of plastic localization. While increasing temperature reduces localization and enhances fatigue performance in René 88DT, Inconel 718 exhibits a sharp degradation at intermediate temperature due to intensified slip ...
