On upper bounds of the complexity of functions over nonprime finite fields in some classes of polarized polynomials

open access: yesИзвестия Иркутского государственного университета: Серия "Математика", 2016
Recently, the interest to polynomial representations of functions over finite fields and over finite rings is being increased. Complexity of those representations is widely studied.

Degree bounds of minimal polynomials and polynomial automorphisms

open access: yesJournal of Pure and Applied Algebra, 1994
Let \(k\) be a field, \(h_ 1,\dots, h_ n\in k[x_ 1,\dots, x_{n-1}]=: k^{[n-1]}\) contain \(n-1\) algebraically independent polynomials. The author has shown earlier, that there exists, up to a non-zero constant factor, a unique irreducible polynomial \(m\) in \(n\) variables such that \(m(h_ 1, \dots,h_ n)=0\), called the minimal polynomial of \(h_ 1 ...

Enhancing Maturation of Human Neuromuscular Organoids via Electrical Stimulation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A framework for on‐demand and non‐invasive exposure of human neuromuscular organoids (NMOs) to electrical stimuli is established to promote their maturation. The robustness and effectiveness of different stimulation regimes are evaluated via thorough characterization of organoid tissue structure and contraction capacity. Chronic electrical stimulation,

Minimal Polynomials and Distinctness of Kloosterman Sums

open access: yesFinite Fields and Their Applications, 1995
Let \(q\) be a power of a prime \(p\), and let \(\text{Kl}_n (q,a)\) be the usual multiple Kloosterman sum generated by the rational function \(x_1+ \cdots+ x_n+ a/(x_1 \dots x_n)\) over \(\mathbb{F}_q\). Let \(\xi_p\) be a primitive \(p\)-th root of unity, and let \(H\) be the group of automorphisms \(\theta\) of \(\mathbb{Q} (\xi_p)\) for which ...

Structural and Compositional Effects on the Scintillation Properties of Fast Emitting Metal‐Organic Frameworks

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The crystalline structure, the atomic numbers of the constituent elementsand the size of MOF crystals each influence their photoluminescence and scintillation properties in distinct ways. Together, these factors provide valuable guidelines for designing systems with optimized performance and tunable timing characteristics, arising from the synergistic ...

Unusual Thermally Induced Blueshift and Emission Amplification of Mn2+ Ions Enable Filter‐Free Luminescent Thermal Imaging

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The shift from point‐based thermal sensing to filter‐free thermal imaging requires luminescent thermometers that exhibit pronounced and thermally driven spectral changes within spectral regions matching the sensitivity profiles of the red, green and blue (RGB) channels of a digital camera.

Field‐Frustrated Cooperative Distortions: Suppressing Jahn‐Teller Ordering via Microwave Annealing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Microwave annealing decouples local Jahn‐Teller distortions from long‐range cooperative ordering in CuFe2O4, stabilizing a metastable cubic phase that remains locally distorted yet globally symmetry‐frustrated. Synchrotron XRD, PDF, XPS, and in situ thermal cycling reveal how non‐equilibrium MW‐phonon interactions suppress cooperative orbital‐lattice ...

SPADE: A Deep Learning Framework for Spatial Mapping and Quantitative Cell–Cell Interaction Inference

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
SPADE integrates spatial transcriptomics with single‐cell RNA sequencing by using cell–cell communications (CCC) as a guide for spatial mapping. It improves cell‐type localization, enhances sparse gene‐expression signals, and reveals CCC programs at single‐spot resolution.
