Boundary Value Problem for a Second-Order Difference Equation with Resonance
In this paper, we study the existence and multiplicity of nontrivial solutions of a second-order discrete boundary value problem with resonance and sublinear or superlinear nonlinearity.

ABSTRACT We consider the problem of sequential (online) estimation of a single change point in a piecewise linear regression model under a Gaussian setup. We demonstrate that certain CUSUM‐type statistics attain the minimax optimal rates for localizing the change point.

Remarks on least energy solutions for quasilinear elliptic problems in $R^N$
In this work we establish some properties of the solutions to the quasilinear second-order problem $$ -Delta_p w=g(w)quad hbox{in } mathbb{R}^N $$ where $Delta_p u=mathop{ m div}(| abla u|^{p-2} abla u)$ is the $p$-Laplacian operator and ...

Minimax Lower Bounds for Uniform Estimation of Covariate-Dependent Copula Parameters
Local likelihood methods are widely used to estimate calibration functions in conditional copula models. Recent work has established uniform stochastic equicontinuity and uniform convergence rates for local likelihood estimators of covariate-dependent ...

Testing Distributional Granger Causality With Entropic Optimal Transport
ABSTRACT We develop a novel nonparametric test for Granger causality in distribution based on entropic optimal transport. Unlike classical mean‐based approaches, the proposed method directly compares the full conditional distributions of a response variable with and without the history of a candidate predictor.

Existence of nonconstant periodic solutions for p(t) $p(t)$-Laplacian Hamiltonian system
The purpose of this paper is to consider the existence of periodic solutions for the p(t) $p(t)$-Laplacian Hamiltonian system. Some results are obtained by using the least action principle and the minimax methods.

This phase II trial evaluated the efficacy and safety of niraparib combined with HX008 in metastatic breast cancer (MBC) patients with germline DNA damage response (DDR) gene mutations. This chemotherapy‐free regimen demonstrates promising efficacy and a tolerable safety profile in MBC patients with germline DDR mutations, providing a novel therapeutic

Minimax principles for critical-point theory in applications to quasilinear boundary-value problems
Using the variational method developed by the same author in [7], we establish the existence of solutions to the equation $-Delta_p u = f(x,u)$ with Dirichlet boundary conditions.

Proposed work deals with the design of a family of stable IIR digital integrators via use of minimax and pole, zero, and constant optimization methods. First the minimax optimization method is used to design a family of second-, third-, and fourth-order ...

Financial Time Series Uncertainty: A Review of Probabilistic AI Applications
ABSTRACT Probabilistic machine learning models offer a distinct advantage over traditional deterministic approaches by quantifying both epistemic uncertainty (stemming from limited data or model knowledge) and aleatoric uncertainty (due to inherent randomness in the data), along with full distributional forecasts.
