Longest path distance in random circuits

open access: yes, 2012
We study distance properties of a general class of random directed acyclic graphs (DAGs). In a DAG, many natural notions of distance are possible, for there exists multiple paths between pairs of nodes.

Developing evidence‐based, cost‐effective P4 cancer medicine for driving innovation in prevention, therapeutics, patient care and reducing healthcare inequalities

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The cancer problem is increasing globally with projections up to the year 2050 showing unfavourable outcomes in terms of incidence and cancer‐related deaths. The main challenges are prevention, improved therapeutics resulting in increased cure rates and enhanced health‐related quality of life.

Number of conflicts at the route intersection – minimum distance model

open access: yesAviation, 2019
A conflict is an infringement of minimum separation between at least two aircraft. The model is based on these assumptions: aircraft fly on level straight line routes, only an infringement of the lateral separation is considered, deviations are excluded,

PARP inhibition and pharmacological ascorbate demonstrate synergy in castration‐resistant prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.

Infrared laser sampling of low volumes combined with shotgun lipidomics reveals lipid markers in palatine tonsil carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

New bound of algebraic immunity of a class of Boolean function

open access: yesTongxin xuebao, 2016
Algebraic immunity quantified the resistance of a Boolean function to the algebraic attack.Recently,Mesnager,et al showed that there were direct linked between the annihilators used in algebraic attacks and the coding theory. They showed that the lower ...

Using of Parallel Coordinates in Finding Minimum Distance in Time-Space

open access: yesCommunications, 2019
Airspace domain may be represented by a time-space consisting of a three-dimensional Cartesian coordinate system and time as the fourth dimension. A coordinate system provides a scheme for locating points given its coordinates and vice versa.
