Minimum Distance Calculation for Safe Human Robot Interaction
The ability of efficient and fast calculation of the minimum distance between humans and robots is vitally important for realizing a safe human robot interaction (HRI), where robots and human co-workers share the same workspace.

Minimum distance of linear codes and the α-invariant [PDF]
The simple interpretation of the minimum distance of a linear code obtained by De Boer and Pellikaan, and later refined by the second author, is further developed through the study of various finitely generated graded modules.

Minimum distance regression-type estimates with rates under weak dependence [PDF]
Under weak dependence, a minimum distance estimate is obtained for a smooth function and its derivatives in a regression-type framework. The upper bound of the risk depends on the Kolmogorov entropy of the underlying space and the mixing coefficient.

ABSTRACT Background Blinatumomab is a bispecific T‐cell engager approved for the treatment of pediatric B‐cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B‐ALL). Outpatient home infusion reduces hospitalization burden and optimizes resource utilization, but is logistically challenging.

Minimum Distance Index for BSS, Generalization, Interpretation and Asymptotics
We consider complex valued linear blind source separation, where the signal dimension might be smaller than the dimension of the observable data vector.

Mapping the evolution of mitochondrial complex I through structural variation
Respiratory complex I (CI) is crucial for bioenergetic metabolism in many prokaryotes and eukaryotes. It is composed of a conserved set of core subunits and additional accessory subunits that vary depending on the organism. Here, we categorize CI subunits from available structures to map the evolution of CI across eukaryotes. Respiratory complex I (CI)

The newfound relationship between extrachromosomal DNAs and excised signal circles
Extrachromosomal DNAs (ecDNAs) contribute to the progression of many human cancers. In addition, circular DNA by‐products of V(D)J recombination, excised signal circles (ESCs), have roles in cancer progression but have largely been overlooked. In this Review, we explore the roles of ecDNAs and ESCs in cancer development, and highlight why these ...

Long-term land cover changes assessment in the Jiului Valley mining basin in Romania
Introduction: Highlighting and assessing land cover changes in a heterogeneous landscape, such as those with surface mining activities, allows for understanding the dynamics and status of the analyzed area.

Minimum Distance Distribution of Irregular Generalized LDPC Code Ensembles
In this paper, the minimum distance distribution of irregular generalized LDPC (GLDPC) code ensembles is investigated. Two classes of GLDPC code ensembles are analyzed; in one case, the Tanner graph is regular from the variable node perspective, and in ...

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).
