Nonsurgical Correction of Brodie Bite in Mixed Dentition Using Quad‐Helix Expansion: A Case Report
ABSTRACT This case report presents a nonsurgical correction of a dentoalveolar Brodie bite in a mixed dentition patient using a quad‐helix appliance. Mandibular expansion resolved the transverse discrepancy within 3 months, improving occlusion, and eliminating a habitual mandibular shift that had contributed to facial asymmetry.

A concurrent finite‐element framework is presented for the design of a patient‐specific AZ31B sub‐orbital osteosynthesis implant manufactured by superplastic forming. The approach couples process simulation and biomechanical analysis to quantify the effects of thickness heterogeneity and grain‐growth‐induced strength degradation.

ABSTRACT Objective The use of narrow‐diameter implants has emerged as a strategy to compensate for the reduced bone dimensions of maxillary lateral incisor agenesis (MLIA). This study integrates finite element analysis (FEA) and systematic review (SR) to assess the biomechanical and clinical viability of implant‐supported crowns in MLIA scenarios ...

Miniscrew-supported distal jet versus conventional distal jet appliance : a pilot study [PDF]
Maxillary molar distalization is the most frequently used nonextraction treatment in the correction of Class II malocclusion. The use of traditional intra-oral devices shows unreliable results.

ABSTRACT Objective The notion that clear aligners alone can distalize upper molars without affecting anterior teeth is inaccurate. Although strategies such as Class II elastics, tooth‐movement sequencing, and attachment variations have been investigated to mitigate unwanted side effects, temporary anchorage devices have demonstrated potential for ...

Impact of Clear Aligners on the Temporomandibular Joint: A Systematic Review
ABSTRACT The temporomandibular joint (TMJ) may experience alterations during orthodontic treatments. Furthermore, gaps in the literature highlight a lack of robust evidence on the impact of clear aligner therapy (CAT) on the TMJ. This review aims to find the current evidence regarding the effects of CAT on the TMJ. Electronic searches were conducted in

The effect of miniscrew length and bone density on anchorage resistance: An in vitro study [PDF]
Introduction > With conventional anchorage, it is usually hard to accomplish a satisfactory result with an absolute anchorage, and this limitation could be resolved by the usage of mini-screw.
