SMOOTHNESS IN THE L_p MINKOWSKI PROBLEM FOR p < 1 [PDF]
We discuss the smoothness and strict convexity of the solution of the Lp-Minkowski problem when ...

ABSTRACT Consider wave equations with time derivative nonlinearity and time‐dependent propagation speed which are generalized versions of the wave equations in the Friedmann–Lemaître–Robertson–Walker (FLRW) spacetime, the de Sitter spacetime and the anti‐de Sitter space time.

Gravitationally dominated instantons and instability of dS, AdS and Minkowski spaces
We study the decay of the false vacuum in the regime where the quantum field theory analysis is not valid, since gravitational effects become important. This happens when the height of the barrier separating the false and the true vacuum is large, and it

Poincaré constraints on celestial amplitudes
The functional structure of celestial amplitudes as constrained by Poincare symmetry is investigated in 2, 3, and 4-point cases for massless external particles of various spin, as well as massive external scalars.

Optically Transparent Ka‐Band Absorber With Multi‐Fractal Rings and a Metal Mesh Ground Plane
ABSTRACT An optically transparent absorber based on multi‐fractal ring resonators and a metal mesh ground plane is presented for Ka‐band applications. By merging multiple resonances, the proposed absorber maintains an absorption bandwidth from 25.8 to 31.1 GHz.

In this paper, we construct a helicoidal surface of type I+ with prescribed weighted mean curvature and Gaussian curvature in the Minkowski 3−space ℝ13${\Bbb R}_1^3$with a positive density function. We get a result for minimal case.

MINKOWSKI SUM SELECTION AND FINDING
Let P,Q ⊆ ℝ2 be two n-point multisets and Ar ≥ b be a set of λ inequalities on x and y, where A ∈ ℝλ×2, [Formula: see text], and b ∈ ℝλ. Define the constrained Minkowski sum(P ⊕ Q)Ar≥ b as the multiset {(p + q)|p ∈ P, q ∈ Q,A(p + q) ≥ b }.

Row‐Aware Randomized SVD With Applications
ABSTRACT The randomized singular value decomposition proposed in [28] has certainly become one of the most well‐established randomization‐based algorithms in numerical linear algebra. The key ingredient of the entire procedure is the computation of a subspace which is close to the column space of the target matrix A∈ℝm×n$$ \mathbf{A}\in {\mathbb{R}}^{m\

Minkowski sums of point sets defined by inequalities
The existing approaches support Minkowski sums for the boundary, set-theoretic, and ray representations of solids. In this paper, we consider the Minkowski sum operation in the context of geometric modeling using real functions.
