Inflation from Minkowski space [PDF]
We propose a class of scalar models that, once coupled to gravity, lead to cosmologies that smoothly and stably connect an inflationary quasi-de Sitter universe to a low, or even zero-curvature, maximally symmetric spacetime in the asymptotic past, strongly violating the null energy condition ($\dot H\gg H^2$) at intermediate times.

On the Weyl Problem in Minkowski Space [PDF]
Abstract Let $S$ be a closed surface of hyperbolic type. We show that, for every pair $(g_+,g_-)$ of negatively curved metrics over $S$, there exists a unique globally hyperbolic, maximal, and Cauchy compact Minkowski spacetime $X$ into which $(S,g_+)$ and $(S,g_-)$ isometrically embed as Cauchy surfaces in the future and past components,

Celestial holography and AdS 3/CFT 2 from a scaling reduction of twistor space
Celestial amplitudes obtained from Mellin transforming 4d momentum space scattering amplitudes contain distributional delta functions, hindering the application of conventional CFT techniques.

Waveguide Photoactuators: Materials, Fabrication, and Applications
Waveguide photoactuators convert guided light into mechanical motion. Their tethered‐flexible design enables minimally invasive surgery and confined‐space robotics. This review aims to guide materials selection, device design, and system integration, accelerating the transition of waveguide photoactuators from laboratory prototypes to versatile ...

A Linear Generalization of the Nearly Gorenstein Property, With Applications to Veronese Subalgebras
ABSTRACT We study the nearly Gorenstein property for Veronese subalgebras of (semi‐)standard graded algebras. We introduce a condition (♮)$(\natural)$ for Cohen–Macaulay semi‐standard graded rings, motivated by the study of Ehrhart rings. We show that if a semi‐standard graded algebra R$ R$ satisfies (♮)$(\natural)$, then its Veronese subalgebras R(k)$

Orlicz Mean Dual Affine Quermassintegrals
Our main aim is to generalize the mean dual affine quermassintegrals to the Orlicz space. Under the framework of dual Orlicz-Brunn-Minkowski theory, we introduce a new affine geometric quantity by calculating the first Orlicz variation of the mean dual ...

The 𝔪-WG° inverse in the Minkowski space
In this article, we study the m{\mathfrak{m}}-WG∘{}^{\circ } inverse which presents a generalization of the m{\mathfrak{m}}-WG inverse in the Minkowski space. We first show the existence and the uniqueness of the generalized inverse.

Amenability Constants for Unconditional Sums of Banach Algebras
ABSTRACT We study Johnson amenability for unconditional direct sums of Banach algebras. Given a family (Ai)i∈I$(A_i)_{i\in I}$ of Banach algebras and a Banach sequence lattice E$E$ on I$I$, the E$E$‐sum ⨁i∈IAiE${\bigl (\bigoplus _{i\in I} A_i\bigr)}_{\!E}$ carries a natural Banach algebra structure via coordinatewise multiplication.
