Tangent Spaces of Minkowski Spaces

open access: yesMissouri Journal of Mathematical Sciences, 2003
The author' work on the class of centrally convex compact bodies whose centre is the origin in the \(n\)-dimensional real space. The main result concerns the tangent spaces of Minkowski spaces: Let \(U_i\), and \(U\) be the indicatrices of \(M^n(U_i)\) and \(M^n(U)\).

Some Remarks on Harmonic Functions in Minkowski Spaces

open access: yesMathematics, 2019
We prove that in Minkowski spaces, a harmonic function does not necessarily satisfy the mean value formula. Conversely, we also show that a function satisfying the mean value formula is not necessarily a harmonic function.

Null Darboux Curve Pairs in Minkowski 3-Space

open access: yesAxioms, 2021
Based on the fundamental theories of null curves in Minkowski 3-space, the null Darboux mate curves of a null curve are defined which can be regarded as a kind of extension for Bertrand curves and Mannheim curves in Minkowski 3-space.

A New Angular Measurement in Minkowski 3-Space

open access: yesMathematics, 2020
In Lorentz−Minkowski space, the angles between any two non-null vectors have been defined in the sense of the angles in Euclidean space. In this work, the angles relating to lightlike vectors are characterized by the Frenet frame of a pseudo null ...

Renormalization in Minkowski space–time [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Modern Physics A, 2021
The multiplicative and the functional renormalization group methods are applied for the four-dimensional scalar theory in Minkowski space–time. It is argued that the appropriate choice of the subtraction point is more important in Minkowski than in Euclidean space–time.

Evolutoids and pedaloids of frontals on timelike surfaces

open access: yesOpen Mathematics, 2023
In this article, we define evolutoids and pedaloids of frontals on timelike surfaces in Minkowski 3-space. The evolutoids of frontals on timelike surfaces are not only the generalization of evolutoids of curves in the Minkowski plane but also the ...

Nonlinear Realization of Supersymmetric AdS Space Isometries [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
The isometries of $AdS_5$ space and supersymmetric $AdS_5\otimes S_1$ space are nonlinearly realized on four dimensional Minkowski space. The resultant effective actions in terms of the Nambu-Goldstone modes are constructed.

The Geometry of Bezier Curves in Minkowski 3−Space

open access: yesUniversal Journal of Mathematics and Applications, 2023
The scope of this paper is to look at some aspects of the differential geometry of Bezier curves in Minkowski space. For that purpose, we firstly introduce Frenet Bezier curve in Minkowski 3-space.
