Abelian number fields with frobenian conditions

open access: yesMathematika, Volume 72, Issue 4, October 2026.
Abstract We study the distribution of abelian number fields with frobenian conditions imposed on the conductor. In particular, we find an asymptotic for the number of abelian field extensions of a number field k$k$ whose conductor is the sum of two squares. We also discuss an application of the Brauer group of stacks to quadratic number fields.

Quantum tasks in Minkowski space [PDF]

open access: yesClassical and Quantum Gravity, 2012
The fundamental properties of quantum information and its applications to computing and cryptography have been greatly illuminated by considering information-theoretic tasks that are provably possible or impossible within non-relativistic quantum mechanics.

DUAL TIMELIKE NORMAL AND DUAL TIMELIKE SPHERICAL CURVES IN DUAL MINKOWSKI SPACE

open access: yesSüleyman Demirel Üniversitesi Fen-Edebiyat Fakültesi Fen Dergisi, 2009
: In this paper, we give characterizations of dual timelike normal and dual timelike spherical curves in the dual Minkowski 3-space and we show that every dual timelike normal curve is also a dual timelike spherical curve.

Remarks on the Maximal Regularity for Parabolic Boundary Value Problems With Inhomogeneous Data

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, Volume 49, Issue 13, Page 15316-15326, 15 September 2026.
ABSTRACT Inspired by Ogawa‐Shimizu and Chen‐Liang‐Tsai on the second and first order derivative estimates of solutions of the heat equation in the upper half space with boundary data in homogeneous Besov spaces, we extend the estimates to any order of derivatives, including fractional derivatives.

The Benjamin–Ono Equation in the Zero‐Dispersion Limit for Rational Initial Data: Generation of Dispersive Shock Waves

open access: yesCommunications on Pure and Applied Mathematics, Volume 79, Issue 9, Page 2107-2157, September 2026.
ABSTRACT The leading‐order asymptotic behavior of the solution of the Cauchy initial‐value problem for the Benjamin–Ono equation in L2(R)$L^2(\mathbb {R})$ is obtained explicitly for generic rational initial data u0$u_0$. An explicit asymptotic wave profile uZD(t,x;ε)$u^\mathrm{ZD}(t,x;\epsilon)$ is given, in terms of the branches of the multivalued ...

Inextensible Flows of Curves on Lightlike Surfaces

open access: yesMathematics, 2018
In this paper, we study inextensible flows of a curve on a lightlike surface in Minkowski three-space and give a necessary and sufficient condition for inextensible flows of the curve as a partial differential equation involving the curvatures of the ...

Field theories on ρ-deformed Minkowski space-time

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2023
We study one-loop perturbative properties of scalar field theories on the ρ-Minkowski space. The corresponding star-product, together with the involution are characterized from a combination of Weyl quantization and defining properties of the convolution

Welfare and Felt Duration

open access: yesNoûs, Volume 60, Issue 3, Page 563-575, September 2026.
ABSTRACT How should we understand the duration of a pleasant or unpleasant sensation, insofar as its duration modulates how good or bad the experience is overall? Given that we seem able to distinguish between subjective and objective duration and that how well or badly someone's life goes is naturally thought of as something to be assessed from her ...

The momentum spaces of κ-Minkowski noncommutative spacetime

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 2020
A useful concept in the development of physical models on the κ-Minkowski noncommutative spacetime is that of a curved momentum space. This structure is not unique: several inequivalent momentum space geometries have been identified.
