Equilateral Sets in Minkowski Spaces [PDF]
The structure of equilateral sets in an n-dimensional Minkowski space M n {M^n} is shown to be closely related to the properties of antipodal sets. The range of the cardinality of maximal equilateral sets in M n {M^n} is obtained and a subset ...

Validation of machine learning based scenario generators
Abstract Machine learning (ML) methods are becoming increasingly important for designing economic scenario generators for internal models. Validating data‐driven models requires different methods than validating classical, theory‐based models. We discuss two novel aspects of such validation: first, checking the multivariate distribution of risk factors,

The momentum spaces of κ-Minkowski noncommutative spacetime
A useful concept in the development of physical models on the κ-Minkowski noncommutative spacetime is that of a curved momentum space. This structure is not unique: several inequivalent momentum space geometries have been identified.

Conull hypersurfaces in Minkowski space [PDF]
A submanifold of M = Gr(2, C 4 ) {\mathbf {M}} = {\text {Gr(2,}}{{\mathbf {C}}^4}{\text {)}} is conull when its conormal space is in ...

The equivariant Minkowski problem in Minkowski space [PDF]
The classical Minkowski problem in Minkowski space asks, given a positive function φ on ℍ d , for a convex set K in Minkowski space with C 2 space-like boundary S, such that φ(η) -1 is the Gauss–Kronecker curvature at the point with normal η. Analogously to the Euclidean case, it is possible to formulate a weak version of this problem: given a Radon ...

Tensor Changepoint Detection and Eigenbootstrap
ABSTRACT Tensor data consisting of multivariate outcomes over the items and across the subjects with longitudinal and cross‐sectional dependence are considered. A completely distribution‐free and tweaking‐parameter‐free detection procedure for changepoints at different locations is designed, which does not require training data.

Minkowski box from Yangian bootstrap
We extend the recently developed Yangian bootstrap for Feynman integrals to Minkowski space, focusing on the case of the one-loop box integral. The space of Yangian invariants is spanned by the Bloch-Wigner function and its discontinuities.

ABSTRACT How should we understand the duration of a pleasant or unpleasant sensation, insofar as its duration modulates how good or bad the experience is overall? Given that we seem able to distinguish between subjective and objective duration and that how well or badly someone's life goes is naturally thought of as something to be assessed from her ...

DUAL TIMELIKE NORMAL AND DUAL TIMELIKE SPHERICAL CURVES IN DUAL MINKOWSKI SPACE
: In this paper, we give characterizations of dual timelike normal and dual timelike spherical curves in the dual Minkowski 3-space and we show that every dual timelike normal curve is also a dual timelike spherical curve.

Inextensible Flows of Curves on Lightlike Surfaces
In this paper, we study inextensible flows of a curve on a lightlike surface in Minkowski three-space and give a necessary and sufficient condition for inextensible flows of the curve as a partial differential equation involving the curvatures of the ...
