Disc-planet interactions in sub-keplerian discs [PDF]
One class of protoplanetary disc models, the X-wind model, predicts strongly subkeplerian orbital gas velocities, a configuration that can be sustained by magnetic tension. We investigate disc-planet interactions in these subkeplerian discs, focusing on orbital migration for low-mass planets and gap formation for high-mass planets.

Minor planet astrophotometry [PDF]
Historically, the Minor Planet Center (MPC) has concentrated on improving the quality of the astrometric observations and the resulting orbits of minor planets. In light of long-standing complaints in the literature about the quality of the photometric parameters for the minor planets, there has been a need to improve the quality of the absolute ...

Thermally Activated Delayed Fluorescence and Beyond. Photophysics and Material Design Strategies.
Photophysical properties of TADF molecules are determined by characteristic parameters that are discussed in detail(. Moreover, using femtosecond time‐resolved spectroscopy, quantum mechanical considerations, and state‐of‐art calculations, deeper understanding allows us to design breakthrough Cu(I) and organic TADF‐ OLED materials. For the latter ones,

Two Steps Li Ion Storage Mechanism in Ruddlesden–Popper Li2La2Ti3O10
This study demonstrates the performance of Ruddlesden‐Popper Li₂La₂Ti₃O₁₀ as an anode material for lithium‐ion batteries, achieving 170 mAh·g⁻¹ capacity with two voltage plateaus from lithium ions stored at different sites. Unique unit cell changes during lithiation ensure high structural stability, leading to 88% capacity retention after 1000 cycles ...

Finite Source Effects in Microlensing Events [PDF]
The computation of the magnification of a finite source by an arbitrary gravitational lens can be reduced from a two-dimensional to a one-dimensional integral using a generalization of Stoke's theorem. For a large source lensed by a planetary-system whose planet lies at the position where one of the two images would be in the absence of a planet, the ...
