Inert Copper Incorporation Enables the High Activity and Durability of NiW Electrocatalyst for Alkaline Hydrogen Oxidation Reaction

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
Cu incorporation further refined the binding strength for intermediates (H* and OH*). Therefore, the resulting Cui‐NiW exhibited outstanding HOR activity, yielding a peak power density of 340 mW cm−2 in a noble metal‐free fuel cell. Moreover, the alloy demonstrated robust durability with only a 5.7% current drop after 10000 cycles.

Moisture sources tracking of a cold vortex rainstorm over Northeast China using FLEXPART

open access: yesAtmospheric Science Letters, Volume 23, Issue 12, December 2022., 2022
A typical Northeast Cold Vortex (NECV) rainstorm on July 25, 2016 occurred under a favorable atmospheric circulation background. Target particles that make significant contributions to this NECV rainstorm mainly came from the Indo‐China Peninsula, South China Sea, Bay of Bengal, and central China on relatively low levels. The largest water vapor uptake

Sustainable Recovery and Reuse of Hard Carbon From Scrap and End‐of‐Life Sodium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
As sodium‐ion battery (SIB) technology advances, sustainable end‐of‐life recycling is crucial. This study presents a direct recycling method for hard carbon (HC) using low‐temperature binder negation at 300 °C under nitrogen. Retaining structural integrity, recycled HC achieves 86–89% capacity retention over 200 cycles.

Upper‐level midlatitude troughs in boreal winter have an amplified low‐latitude linkage over Africa

open access: yesAtmospheric Science Letters, Volume 24, Issue 1, January 2023., 2023
Composite mean anomaly of 850‐hPa temperature at 10–15° N 2 days after the strongest midlatitude upper‐level trough days. The troughs are located at the longitude shown on the x‐axis, and the temperature is measured 16.5° longitude downstream (east) of the trough. Black dots indicate statistical significance.

Alternative Solid‐State Synthesis Route for Highly Fluorinated Disordered Rock‐Salt Cathode Materials for High‐Energy Lithium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
This work presents a tailored solid‐state route to enhance DRX fluorination and electrochemical performance. Using unconventional precursors, Li6MnO4, MnF2, and TiO2, prevents Mn‐based intermediates, which do not accommodate fluorines, enabling the formation of highly fluorinated DRX with a composition of Li1.23Mn0.40Ti0.37O2−yFy (y = 0.29–0.34 ...
