Boreas, EarlyView.We summarize the current state of knowledge on the age of the Middle Pleistocene ice advances into northern central Europe and provide 25 new single‐grain feldspar luminescence ages of Elsterian and Saalian glacigenic sediments to constrain the age of the ice advances and their tentative correlation with marine isotope stages/substages.

Revealing patterns of endemism in the transatlantic family Chelodesmidae (Polydesmida: Diplopoda)
Cladistics, EarlyView.Abstract With fossil records dating back to the Silurian/Late Ordovician, millipedes stand out as one of the earliest terrestrial animal groups. Their limited vagility and high endemism make them valuable tools for formulating and testing biogeographic hypotheses, including those related to macro‐vicariance events.

Homo luzonensis and the role of homoplasy in the morphology of hominin insular species
Cladistics, EarlyView.Abstract Homo luzonensis lived during the upper Pleistocene in the northern Philippines, east of the Wallace line. The few specimens attributed to this species show a mosaic of plesiomorphies for the genus Homo and apomorphies found in upper Pleistocene Homo species.

Equine Veterinary Education, EarlyView.Summary Carpal valgus deformities remain a common challenge in foals, yet their aetiology is often multifactorial and rarely attributable to a single anatomical anomaly. Recent case reports by Müller et al. (2025) suggest that rudimentary ulnas may play a causative role in these deformities, but such claims warrant closer scrutiny.
