A Remarkable Oxygen-rich Asymptotic Giant Branch Variable in the Sagittarius Dwarf Irregular Galaxy
We report and discuss JHKs photometry for Sgr dIG, a very metal-deficient galaxy in the Local Group, obtained over 3.5 years with the Infrared Survey Facility in South Africa. Three large amplitude asymptotic giant branch variables are identified. One is

Thermometer Ions, Internal Energies, and In‐Source Fragmentation in Ambient Ionization
ABSTRACT Ionization and fragmentation are at the core of mass spectrometry. But they are not necessarily separated in space, as in‐source fragmentation can also occur. Here, we survey the literature published since our 2005 review on the internal energy and fragmentation in electrospray ionization sources.

The Age and Structure of the Galactic Bulge from Mira Variables
We report periods and JHKL observations for 648 oxygen-rich Mira variables found in two outer bulge fields at b=-7 degrees and l=+/-8 degrees and combine these with data on 8057 inner bulge Miras from the OGLE, Macho and 2MASS surveys, which are ...

Synthesis and Application of Chitosan‐Salicylic Acid Magnetic Nanoparticles in Colon Cancer Cells
This study reports the development of magnetic nanoparticles using chitosan as a stabilizer and conjugated with salicylic acid for colon cancer therapy. The biocompatible design enhances nanoparticle stability and enables selective toxicity against cancer cells while minimizing effects on normal cells.

The obligately lichenicolous genus Abrothallus consists of approximately 50 species, almost all of which are associated with lichens having foliose, fruticose, or pendulous thalli. This paper focuses on species that grow on strap lichens (Ramalina) providing new insights into their phylogenetic relationships and distribution.

IUE observations of Mg2 emission form Miras [PDF]
A total of 61 well exposed low dispersion LWP observations were obtained from the brightest normal M-type Mira variables around their pulsation cycles. By observing Mg II throughout the cycle, the intent is to determine the shock luminosity and duration,
