Right aortic arch with mirror-image branching and coarctation of the aorta.
We report a case of right aortic arch with mirror-image branching and coarctation of the aorta and left ductus arteriosus in a 6-year-old boy. He was referred to Chang Gung Children's Hospital with suspected left ventricular failure. Physical examination revealed hypertension and a pulse discrepancy between the upper and lower extremities ...

Transition metal oxy/carbo‐nitrides show great promise as catalysts for sustainable processes. A Mn‐Mo mixed‐metal oxynitride attains remarkable performance for the direct synthesis of acetonitrile, an important commodity chemical, via sequential C─N and C─C coupling from syngas (C1) and ammonia (N1) feedstocks.

Terminal Metric Spaces of Finitely Branching and Image Finite Linear processes
Well-known metric spaces for modelling finitely branching and image finite systems are shown to be (the carrier of) terminal ...

Magnetic doping of the topological insulator Bi2Te3 with erbium adatoms induces out‐of‐plane magnetism and breaks time‐reversal symmetry, opening a Dirac gap and driving a Fermi surface transition from hexagonal to star‐of‐David geometry. Microscopy, spectroscopy, and magnetic dichroism reveal atomically controlled magnetic interactions that tailor the

Mathematical Approaches of Branching Morphogenesis [PDF]
Many organs require a high surface to volume ratio to properly function. Lungs and kidneys, for example, achieve this by creating highly branched tubular structures during a developmental process called branching morphogenesis.

The water permeability of amorphous carbon dots (CDs) is demonstrated by investigating their plasticization. Novel polyamide‐based and amorphous nanoparticles are synthesized by controlling their inner packing density. Water plasticization is evidenced by the decrease of the CDs glass transition temperature with increasing the hydration degree.

Hausdorff measure of arcs and Brownian motion on Brownian spatial trees [PDF]
A Brownian spatial tree is defined to be a pair $(\mathcal{T},\phi)$, where $\mathcal{T}$ is the rooted real tree naturally associated with a Brownian excursion and φ is a random continuous function from $\mathcal{T}$ into ℝd such that, conditional on ...

Directional Flow of Confined Polaritons in CrSBr
CrSBr, a layered magnetic semiconductor, naturally channels self‐hybridized excitonpolaritons into highly directional flow. Its intrinsic optical anisotropy, high refractive index, and strong lightmatter coupling enable long‐range guided modes along the a‐axis, with propagation lengths set by their excitonphoton admixture.
