Genomic Insights and Matrilineal Evolution Reveal Potential Dispersal Patterns of Chitala Species (Osteoglossomorpha: Notopteridae) in the Sundaland Biodiversity Hotspot

This study reports the first complete mitochondrial genome of Chitala borneensis and the re‐sequencing of Chitala lopis from Sundaland. Analyses of genetic structure, matrilineal phylogenies, and TimeTree‐based divergence estimates elucidate the evolutionary history and dispersal dynamics of extant Chitala species.

Tunable Josephson Generator for Qubit Excitation and Two‐Tone Spectroscopy

A tunable on‐chip Josephson generator that enables direct qubit excitation has been presented. The device consists of a current‐biased Josephson junction and a superconducting resonator, forming a microwave source that operates at 4 K. Excitation of the qubit at 20 mK was done via a short coaxial line between the 4 K and 20 mK stages.

Early Postfire Regeneration Determines Long‐Term Successional Trajectories in Temperate Pinus densiflora Forests of Korea

Twenty years of permanent‐plot data reveal that post‐fire forest recovery is determined early by burn severity and initial regeneration. Severe‐burn stands diverged sharply, ranging from rapidly developing Quercus‐dominated forests to delayed open vegetation, while light‐burn stands retained pine dominance.
