Teaching PLC timers and counters programming using MIT app-inventor

Current students and technologies demand using new learning/teaching techniques. The potentialities of using mobile devices such as smartphones for teaching/learning purposes are huge. However, in some teaching areas its use is still residual. The use of mobile applications in the context of teaching PLC programming techniques is addressed in this work.

Chat computational fluid dynamics (CFD) introduces an large language model (LLM)‐driven agent that automates OpenFOAM simulations end‐to‐end, attaining 82.1% execution success and 68.12% physical fidelity across 315 benchmarks—far surpassing prior systems.

Automated Discovery of Multicellular Behavior for Optimized Plant Growth and Climate Resilience

An automated robotic system is described for rapid scientific experimentation with multicellular organisms. By enhancing a robotic liquid handler with a custom developed deep learning algorithm and camera module, samples and data are prepared with minimal human intervention.
