First Mitogenome of Endangered Enteromius thysi (Actinopterygii: Cypriniformes: Cyprinidae) from Africa: Characterization and Phylogeny [PDF]
The complete mitochondrial genome of endangered Enteromius thysi was determined from Cameroon in Western Africa. The genome was 16,688 bp in length, comprising 37 genes (13 PCGs, 2 rRNAs, 22 tRNAs, and an AT-rich control region).

Comparative Mitogenomics of Flesh Flies: Implications for Phylogeny [PDF]
Flesh flies (Diptera: Sarcophagidae) represent a rapid radiation belonging to the Calyptratae. With more than 3000 known species, they are extraordinarily diverse in terms of their breeding habits and are therefore of particular importance in human and veterinary medicine, forensics, and ecology.

A mitogenomic phylogeny of chitons (Mollusca: Polyplacophora) [PDF]
AbstractBackgroundPolyplacophora, or chitons, have long fascinated malacologists for their distinct and rather conserved morphology and lifestyle compared to other mollusk classes. However, key aspects of their phylogeny and evolution remain unclear due to the few morphological, molecular, or combined phylogenetic analyses, particularly those ...

Mitogenomics and the Phylogeny of Mantis Shrimps (Crustacea: Stomatopoda) [PDF]
Stomatopoda, commonly known as mantis shrimps, are notable for their enlarged second maxillipeds encompassing the raptorial claw. The form of the claw can be used to divide them into two basic groups: smashers and spearers. Previous phylogenetic studies of Stomatopoda have focused on morphology or a few genes, though there have been whole mitochondrial

Mitogenomic diversity and phylogeny analysis of yak (Bos grunniens) [PDF]
Abstract Background and aim Mitochondrial genome has aseries of characteristics such as simple structure, no recombination, maternalinheritance, stable structure, fast evolution rate, and high copy number. Moreover, it is easy to be sequenced, contains high-resolution phylogenetic information, and exists in a wide rangeof
