Indian Heart Journal, 2015 Tricuspid valve stenosis is mostly rheumatic in origin. It almost always occurs in association with mitral valve disease. There are only few case reports of isolated tricuspid valve stenosis.

Acta Obstetricia et Gynecologica Scandinavica, EarlyView.This retrospective cohort study used linked data to measure the proportion of women with rheumatic heart disease (RHD) who experienced major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) after 20 weeks of gestation. Before birth, 4.5% of women with initially uncomplicated RHD and 31.8% of women with initially complicated RHD experienced RHD‐MACE.
