Outer Approximation for Mixed-Integer Nonlinear Robust Optimization

open access: yesJournal of Optimization Theory and Applications, 2022
AbstractCurrently, few approaches are available for mixed-integer nonlinear robust optimization. Those that do exist typically either require restrictive assumptions on the problem structure or do not guarantee robust protection. In this work, we develop an algorithm for convex mixed-integer nonlinear robust optimization problems where a key feature is

Chameleonic Color‐Variable Microbead Emitters for Multilevel Spectroscopic Encryption from Visible to Infrared Wavelengths

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
Whispering‐gallery‐mode microresonators with sharp resonant peaks enable photonic barcoding. Similar to a chameleon, a rare‐earth‐free microcavity with π‐conjugated PAHs enables visibleto‐near infrared color generation from a single microbead. The unique resonat emission (spectral barcode) can be dynamically transformed via excitation wavelength change,
