IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques, 1995A compact mixed modes cylindrical planar dielectric resonator filter in rectangular enclosure with excellent spurious free performance is presented. Space coupling between different mode's dielectric resonators and iris coupling between identical mode's dielectric resonators are realized in the filters.

Mixed-mode automatic tuning scheme for high-Q continuous-time filters
IEE Proceedings - Circuits, Devices and Systems, 2000An automatic tuning scheme using envelope detectors and simple mixed-mode circuitry is discussed. The method is developed especially for filters with large Q values and can be used at very high operating frequencies. The circuit was designed in a 1.2 µm CMOS process with a 3 V single supply voltage.
