MHD Falkner-Skan Flow with Mixed Convection and Convective Boundary Conditions
In this paper we investigate the simultaneous effects of thermal and concentration diffusions on a mixed convection magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) Falkner-Skan boundary layer flow through a porous medium under a convective surface boundary condition.

The effective thermal conductivity is the most useful characteristic property to distinguish between two or more insulation materials. It is always the same by using different boundary conditions or different representative elementary volume sizes.

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Nonlinear elliptic equations involving the p-Laplacian with mixed Dirichlet-Neumann boundary conditions [PDF]
In this paper, a nonlinear differential problem involving the \(p\)-Laplacian operator with mixed boundary conditions is investigated. In particular, the existence of three non-zero solutions is established by requiring suitable behavior on the ...

Problems with Mixed Boundary Conditions in Banach Spaces [PDF]
Using Leray-Schauder degree or degree for α-condensing maps we obtain the existence of at least one solution for the boundary value problem of the following type: φu′′=ft,u,u′, u(T)=0=u′(0), where φ:X→X is a homeomorphism with reverse Lipschitz constant such that φ(0)=0, f:0,T×X×X→X is a continuous function, T is a positive real number, and X is a ...

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

ASYMPTOTIC SOLUTIONS OF MIXED PROBLEMS FOR ELASTIC STRIP AND WEDGE
Asymptotic solutions are derived for two new theory elasticity problems with mixed boundary conditions. The first problem is about a shear crack in a strip for different types of boundary conditions on the outer faces of the strip.

This study reveals a unique active site enriched in methionine residues and demonstrates that these residues play a critical role by stabilizing carbocation intermediates through novel sulfur–cation interactions. Structure‐guided mutagenesis further revealed variants with significantly altered product profiles, enhancing pseudopterosin formation. These
