MIXING FOR PROGRESSIONS IN NONABELIAN GROUPS [PDF]
AbstractWe study the mixing properties of progressions $(x, xg, x{g}^{2} )$, $(x, xg, x{g}^{2} , x{g}^{3} )$ of length three and four in a model class of finite nonabelian groups, namely the special linear groups ${\mathrm{SL} }_{d} (F)$ over a finite field $F$, with $d$ bounded. For length three progressions $(x, xg, x{g}^{2} )$, we establish a strong

Public understanding of science and common sense: Social representations of the human microbiome among the expert and non-expert public [PDF]
The aim of this investigation is to examine the structure and the content of different social groups’ representations of the human microbiome. We employed a non-probabilistic sample comprising two groups of participants.

A note on mixed A-reflexive groups
For Abelian groups \(A\) and \(G\), the Warfield \(A\)-dual of \(G\), \(G^*=\Hom(G,A)\). There is a canonical homomorphism \(\delta\colon G\to G^{**}\), and \(G\) is called \(A\)-reflexive if \(\delta\) is an isomorphism. The main problem is to characterize, for various choices of \(A\), the \(A\)-reflexive groups.

Anthropogenic disturbance and mixed-species groups
Mixed-species groups (MSGs) are composed of individuals of two or more species with such close associations that they can be regarded as members of the same social group.

Background Participants want to receive the results of trials that they have participated in. Dissemination practices are disparate, and there is limited guidance available on what information to provide to participants and how to deliver it.

On the structure of the centralizer of a braid [PDF]
The mixed braid groups are the subgroups of Artin braid groups whose elements preserve a given partition of the base points. We prove that the centralizer of any braid can be expressed in terms of semidirect and direct products of mixed braid groups ...

Cohesion, order and information flow in the collective motion of mixed-species shoals [PDF]
Despite the frequency with which mixed-species groups are observed in nature, studies of collective behaviour typically focus on single-species groups.

Investigating Different Types of Red-Light Running Behaviors among Urban e-Bike Rider Mixed Groups
The red-light running (RLR) behaviors of urban mixed e-bike groups (delivery and ordinary e-bike) have become the main cause of traffic accidents at signalized intersections.
