Promiscuous stimulation of HSP70 ATPase activity by parasite‐derived J‐domains
The malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum exports three highly homologous yet functionally divergent J‐domain proteins into human erythrocytes. Here, we show that J‐domains isolated from all three proteins effectively stimulate the ATPase activity of both endogenous host and exported parasite HSP70 chaperones.

Cryptosporidium is a globally endemic parasite genus with over 40 recognized species. While C. hominis and C. parvum are responsible for most human infections, human cases involving other species have also been reported.

Biological controls in mixed trichostrongyle infections
SummaryThe parasite reaction phenotype of 80 lambs was determined with natural infection on pasture. These lambs were then assigned to outcome groups and randomized into treatment groups. Developing some simple but unusual analytical techniques it was possible to demonstrate that mixed natural infections of trichostrongyles with the chief biomass ...

Development of human monoclonal antibodies against TARM1 by yeast display
Human monoclonal antibodies against TARM1 are generated by yeast display‐guided selection. These antibodies bind to soluble and cell‐surface forms of TARM1. Also, these antibodies exhibit agonistic activity in the NFAT‐GFP reporter assay, indicating that TARM1 signaling can be functionally modulated by antibodies and suggesting TARM1 as a potential ...

Polymicrobial periodontal disease triggers a wide radius of effect and unique virome. [PDF]
Periodontal disease is a microbially-mediated inflammatory disease of tooth-supporting tissues that leads to bone and tissue loss around teeth. Although bacterially-mediated mechanisms of alveolar bone destruction have been widely studied, the effects of

MiR‐513a promotes human erythroid differentiation by modulating c‐Jun
During early human erythropoiesis, miR‐513a promoted erythroid differentiation in primary human CD34+ hematopoietic stem‐progenitor cells and human TF‐1 erythroleukemic cells by indirectly decreasing c‐Jun and phospho‐c‐Jun expression, which are associated with increased GATA1 expression.

Persisting Mixed Cryoglobulinemia in Chikungunya Infection
Chikungunya virus (CHIKV), an arbovirus, is responsible for a two-stage disabling disease, consisting of an acute febrile polyarthritis for the first 10 days, frequently followed by chronic rheumatisms, sometimes lasting for years. Up to now, the pathophysiology of the chronic stage has been elusive.

Digital twins to accelerate target identification and drug development for immune‐mediated disorders
Digital twins integrate patient‐derived molecular and clinical data into personalised computational models that simulate disease mechanisms. They enable rapid identification and validation of therapeutic targets, prediction of drug responses, and prioritisation of candidate interventions.
