Scandium (Sc)‐doped AlCoCrFeMo HEA coatings are fabricated via flame spraying with 0.1, 0.3, and 0.5 wt% Sc additions. Among these, the HEA‐Sc0.3 coating exhibits the highest corrosion resistance, indicated by a more positive corrosion potential and lower current density.

Why Do Oceanic Nonlinearities Contribute Only Weakly to Extreme El Niño Events?
Extreme El Niño events have outsized global impacts and control the El Niño Southern Oscillation (ENSO) warm/cold phases asymmetries. Yet, a consensus regarding the relative contributions of atmospheric and oceanic nonlinearities to their genesis remains

On a Weak Solution of the Mixed Nonlinear Schrödinger Equations
We study the following Cauchy problem for the mixed nonlinear Schrödinger equation (mixed NSE): \[ U_ t=i\alpha U_{xx}+\beta U^ 2 \overline{U}_ x+\gamma| U|^ 2 U_ x+ig(| U|^ 2)U,\qquad U(x,0)=U_ 0(x), \] where \(\alpha\), \(\beta\), \(\gamma\) are real constants with \(\alpha\neq 0\), \(\overline U\) denotes the complex conjugate of \(U\), the real ...

Coarse‐grained (left) and atomistic (right) models of the shape memory polymer ESTANE ETE 75DT3 are shown schematically. The two representations bridge molecular detail and mesoscopic description. Both models capture shape memory behavior, linking segmental mobility and conformational relaxation of anisotropic chains to macroscopic recovery, and ...

On the Complexity of Nonlinear Mixed-Integer Optimization [PDF]
This is a survey on the computational complexity of nonlinear mixed-integer optimization. It highlights a selection of important topics, ranging from incomputability results that arise from number theory and logic, to recently obtained fully polynomial time approximation schemes in fixed dimension, and to strongly polynomial-time algorithms for special

From Shear to Sound: Mechanics–Acoustics Mapping of TPMS Lattices
Triply periodic minimal surface (TPMS) lattices are mapped across mechanical and acoustic performance, revealing that descriptors validated in compression fail under shear. First‐time comparison with trusses included. A transition from porous to resonance‐driven absorption emerges at 25% density.

In this article, several new oscillation theorems for n-th-order neutral dynamic equations with mixed nonlinearities are established. Our work extends some known results in the literature on second-order, third-order, and higher-order linear and half-

New Oscillation Criteria for Second-Order Delay Differential Equations with Mixed Nonlinearities
We establish new oscillation criteria for second-order delay differential equations with mixed nonlinearities of the form (p(t)x'(t))'+∑i=1npi(t)x(t-τi)+∑i=1nqi(t)|x(t-τi)|αisgn x(t-τi)=e(t), t≥0, where p(t), pi(t), qi(t), and e(t) are continuous ...

Analysis of Plane Multi-Span Frames with the Analytical Method of Force-Displacement Combination [PDF]
This paper investigates the effectiveness of the mixed forced-displacement method for solving indeterminate plane frames that combine force and displacement relations based on the beam’s axial and bending deformation behavior simultaneously.
