High-Performance CsPbI2Br Perovskite Solar Cells with Zinc and Manganese Doping

open access: yesNanoscale Research Letters, 2019
Photovoltaic performances of CsPbI2Br solar cells are still lower than those of hybrid inorganic–organic perovskite solar cells, and researchers are exploring ways to improve their efficiencies.

Mixed reality architecture

open access: yes, 2007
This thesis develops and investigates Mixed Reality Architectures (MRA), dynamic shared architectural topologies, which span physical and virtual spaces. A theoretical framework is developed to describe the field of possible architectures.

ZW4864‐mediated inhibition of the β‐catenin/BCL9/BCL9L complex reveals therapeutic potential in bladder cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
BCL9 and BCL9L drive bladder cancer progression by enhancing β‐catenin signaling, promoting proliferation, migration, invasion, and organoid growth. Genetic depletion of BCL9(L) suppresses malignant phenotypes, while pharmacological disruption of the β‐catenin/BCL9(L) complex with ZW4864 inhibits canonical Wnt signaling and tumor‐associated cellular ...

Heterogeneous, distributed mixed reality Applications. A concept [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
This poster formulates the concept of heterogeneous distributed mixed reality (HDMR) applications in order to state some interesting research questions in this domain. HDMR applications give synchronous access to shared virtual worlds, from diverse mixed

Nuclear pore links Fob1‐dependent rDNA damage relocation to lifespan control

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Damaged rDNA accumulates at a specific perinuclear interface that couples nucleolar escape with nuclear envelope association. Nuclear pores at this site help inhibit Fob1‐induced rDNA instability. This spatial organization of damage handling supports a functional link between nuclear architecture, rDNA stability, and replicative lifespan in yeast.

Curved Holographic Augmented Reality Near-Eye Display System Based on Freeform Holographic Optical Element with Extended Field of View

open access: yesPhotonics
At present, most near-eye display devices adopt flat substrates, which have problems such as limited field of view (FOV) and bulky shape, while the curved structure is expected to expand the FOV with appropriate volume. In this paper, we propose a curved

A light‐triggered Time‐Resolved X‐ray Solution Scattering (TR‐XSS) workflow with application to protein conformational dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

Intuitive interaction in a mixed reality system

open access: yes, 2016
Tangible physical systems are more intuitive than Intangible virtual Systems. Mixed reality systems are considered as an alternative to virtual systems, bringing advantages of tangible systems into an interaction.
