Asymmetry of the Ferroelectric Phase Transition in BaTiO3
Phase transitions are typically assumed to behave identically in forward and reverse. This work shows that in the ferroelectric material barium titanate this is not true: heating drives an abrupt, first‐order jump, while cooling gives a smooth, continuous change.

Abstract The paper looks at three emerging technologies, namely virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR) and mixed media (MX), and explains how they are transforming the way we interact with the digital and real worlds. Each technology is defined and the main features are highlighted for comparison.

Liquid Metal Microrobots for Magnetically Guided Transvascular Navigation
Liquid metal‐based microrobots combine magnetic steering, intrinsic X‐ray visibility and softness, to navigate blood vessels even against flow. Under clinically relevant magnetic fields, liquid metal microrobots roll along vessel walls, cross endothelial barriers, and accumulate in target tissues.

Gapless Superconductivity From Extremely Dilute Magnetic Disorder in 2H‐NbSe2‐xSx
We demonstrate that 2H‐NbSe2‐xSx hosts gapless superconductivity at unexpectedly low magnetic impurity concentrations. Combining STM, Bogoliubovde Gennes simulations, DFT, and quasiparticle interference, we comprehensively study the development of gapless behavior and show that SeS substitution reshapes the band structure, enhances nesting, and drives ...

Designing the Ideal Mixed Reality (MR) Headset for Archaeological Fieldwork
Abstract Mixed Reality (MR) headsets offer the promise of greatly enhancing the ways that archaeologists collect and interact with their data during fieldwork. Archaeology is inherently spatial, visual, and grounded in the 3D reality of the world, which makes immersive MR headsets a natural fit for our discipline.

We produce a new derivative of hydroxypropyl cellulose functionalized with arylazopyrazole side chains and demonstrate its photoswitchable behaviors in dilute and concentrated aqueous solutions, ultimately designing a series of photochromic cholesteric materials that can be photopatterned as write‐erase displays.
