Tetracycline and amphotericin B vaginal cream for mixed vaginal infections.
A tetracycline and amphotericin B vaginal cream (Vagmycin; Squibb) was highly effective in mixed vaginal infections. More than 95% of patients had symptomatic relief while 85% showed bacterial and clinical response. There appeared to be little difference whether the cream was applied for 1 week or 2 weeks.
