Murine hybridomas secreting monoclonal antibodies reacting with Mlsa antigens.
Experimental and clinical immunogenetics, 1994Murine monoclonal antibodies have been developed from spleens of AKR mice hyperimmunised with the monoclonal antibody against TCR-V beta 6. Two new monoclonal antibodies called AL-12-3 and AL-32-7 were able to specifically block Mlsa-induced but not MHC-induced mixed lymphocyte responses in a dose-dependent manner. Both antibodies are mouse IgG3 lambda

Evolutionary history of Ralstonia Solanacearum inferred from MLSA
2012We used multilocus sequence analysis (MLSA) on a worldwide collection of the plant pathogenic Ralstonia solanacearum (Betaproteobacteria) to retrace its complex evolutionary history. Using genetic imprints left during Ralstonia solanacearum evolution, we were able to delineate distinct evolutionary complex displaying contrasting dynamics.

Rapid and accurate diagnosis of ‘Candidatus Phytoplasma’ is critical for disease management but remains challenging due to the pathogen's unculturable nature, low titers, uneven distribution and genetic complexity. While current official guidelines provide a highly adaptable taxonomic foundation for species assignment, translating these broad ...

The heterogeneity of microbial community in environmental samples can hamper their accurate identification. Matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization–time of flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF MS) has been increasingly applied in clinical microbiology, but still underrated in classification and identification of environmental bacteria.
