Element Specific Room Temperature Non‐Collinear Magnetism in the M‐Type Hexaferrite SrCo1.2Ti1.2Fe9.6O19${\rm SrCo}_{1.2}{\rm Ti}_{1.2}{\rm Fe}_{9.6}{\rm O}_{19}$

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, EarlyView.
Non‐collinear magnetism is of high interest in the field of magnetoelectrics supplying a convenient mechanism to break inversion symmetry and thereby allowing for a spontaneous electrical polarization. Such “multiferroics of spin origin” are inherently suitable for electric field control of magnetism, offering a route toward low power ICT applications.

Study of the Effect of MMC on the Sister Chromatid Exchange in the Human Lymphocytes [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Kerman University of Medical Sciences, 2004
Some environmental mutagenic agents cause genomic instability and increase susceptibility of DNA damage. One of them is mitomycin C which is connected to DNA as an alkylating factor and affects susceptible cells to reduction reactions.

Gleaning the Rocky Shore? 2500 Years of Coastal Resource Use at Red Bluff 1, GunaiKurnai Country, SE Australia

open access: yesArchaeology in Oceania, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Shell middens in Gippsland along the eastern half of Victoria's coastline have usually been characterised as small, short‐duration camp sites with relatively low shell densities and low taxonomic diversity. Here we present new excavation results from a dense, high‐diversity site at Red Bluff near the eastern end of GunaiKurnai Country, a ...

Effects of Replacing Alfalfa Hay With Barley Silage in High‐Concentrate Diets: Chewing Behavior, Ruminal Fermentation, Total‐Tract Digestibility, and Milk Production of Dairy Cows in Mid‐Lactation Phase

open access: yesAnimal Research and One Health, EarlyView.
We assessed lactation productivity in dairy cows when replacing alfalfa hay with barley silage. A 50% replacement increased feed intake, whereas total replacement improved nutrient conversion to milk. Barley silage can effectively replace alfalfa hay, enhancing sustainability and resilience in dairy production amid forage quality constraints and market

Research on single-phase grounding fault protection on the AC side of VSC-HVDC systems considering third harmonic modulation

open access: yesZhejiang dianli
To achieve simple and reliable single-phase grounding fault protection on the AC side of VSC-HVDC systems, this paper focuses on systems where the neutral point of the converter valve's AC side is impedance-grounded.

The Synthesis Effects on the Performance of P2‐Na0.6Li0.27Mn0.73O2 Cathode Material for Sodium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesBattery Energy, Volume 4, Issue 2, March 2025.
The effect of reagents on the structure and performance of sodium‐layered oxides has not yet been thoroughly studied. This work explored this factor systematically through in situ high‐temperature XRD. The samples synthesized via MnCO3‐based precursors form the Li2MnO3 phase at evaluated temperature and perform better than those through MnO2‐based ...

A SOC equilibrium control strategy for MMC-SCES based on capacitor voltage balancing

open access: yesZhejiang dianli
The super capacitor energy storage (SCES) system based on modular multilevel converter (MMC) is one of the key technologies for addressing issues with the grid integration of large-scale renewable energy.

High Pressure Stabilizes the Elusive Hexacoordinated Carbon

open access: yesChemistryEurope, EarlyView.
The MCF6 species (M = Ca, Sr) is more stable than the bicomponent MF2…CF4 mixture in the solid‐state at high pressure (p > 400 GPa). The main building block is the [CF6]2− unit in which carbon is hexacoordinated. Unusually high coordination number for elements has been of great interest in chemistry.

Research on a small-signal stability criterion for MMC controller

open access: yesZhejiang dianli
High voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission based on modular multilevel converter (MMC) is widely used in large-scale renewable energy delivery. However, the lagged inertia of MMC controllers may undermine the small-signal stability.
