Can Food Acquisition Priority Alter Emotion, Physiological Responses, and Social Rank in Fish?

We tested whether a cichlid fish perceives inequitable food distribution by manipulating feeding order. Priority‐fed individuals consumed more, had higher condition factors, and exhibited lower whole‐body cortisol than delayed‐fed fish, while personality, metabolism, dopamine, and social rank did not differ.

Impact of Metformin and Diabetes on Tumor Response to Total Neoadjuvant Therapy in Advanced Rectal Cancer: A Multicenter Retrospective Cohort Study
