Global Change Biology, Volume 30, Issue 1, January 2024.Living in a warming world requires adaptations to altered annual temperature regimes. We show that Alpine butterflies and moths now emerge earlier in the year (ΔPearly in days) and tend to extend their flight periods in autumn as a response to increasing temperatures (ΔPlate).
