tmf Is Not a Ring Spectrum Quotient of String Bordism

open access: yes, 2017
This paper shows that $\mathrm{tmf}[1/6]$ is not a ring spectrum quotient of $\mathrm{MO}\langle8\rangle[1/6]$. In fact, for any prime $p>3$ and any sequence $X$ of homogeneous elements of $\pi_*\mathrm{MO}\langle8\rangle$, the $\pi_*\mathrm{MO}\langle8 ...

Angular distribution of the FCNC process BcDs*(Dsπ)+

open access: yesPhysical Review, 2023
In this work, we study the flavor-changing neutral-current process Bc→Ds*(→Dsπ)ℓ+ℓ− (ℓ=e, μ, τ). The relevant weak transition form factors are obtained by using the covariant light-front quark model, in which the main inputs, i.e., the meson wave functions of Bc and Ds*, are adopted as the numerical wave functions from the solution of the Schrödinger ...

A PRSZT Registry Analysis of Prognostic Factors Influencing Survival and Relapse Rates After Second Allogeneic Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation in Pediatric Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT A second allogeneic (allo‐)hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT2) is a potential curative option for pediatric patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) following relapse after first allogeneic transplantation (HSCT1), but its efficacy is limited by high relapse rates and transplant‐related toxicity in highly pretreated ...

Review of NMR studies of nanoscale molecular magnets composed of geometrically frustrated antiferromagnetic triangles

open access: yes, 2015
We present a comprehensive review of nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) studies performed on three nanoscale molecular magnets with different configurations of geometrically frustrated antiferromagnetic (AFM) triangles, new spin frustration systems with ...

B¯(*)B¯(*) interactions in chiral effective field theory

open access: yesPhysical Review, 2019
In this work, the intermeson interactions of double-beauty B¯B¯, B¯B¯*, and B¯*B¯* systems have been studied with heavy meson chiral effective field theory. The effective potentials are calculated with Weinberg’s scheme up to one-loop level. At the leading order, four-body contact interactions and one-pion exchange contributions are considered.

Evaluation of the Utility of Baseline Echocardiogram in Patients With Standard Risk Precursor B‐Lymphoblastic Leukemia

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
Abstract Background A routine baseline echocardiogram is often obtained prior to anthracycline administration in children with cancer. The utility of baseline echocardiogram is unclear in patients with standard risk B‐cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (SR B‐ALL) as their anthracycline cumulative dose is low.

Stress Relaxation Behavior of Cavitation-Processed Cr–Mo Steel and Ni–Cr–Mo Steel

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2019
Cr–Mo steel and Ni–Cr–Mo steel have higher strength and hardness than carbon steel, and they are occasionally used in harsh environments where high temperatures and high pressures are simultaneously applied in an oxidizing gas atmosphere.

D¯s(*)D(*) molecular state with JP=1+

open access: yesPhysical Review, 2021
In this paper, we construct D¯s(*)D(*)-molecule-type interpolating currents J(±)μ(x) with JP=1+, calculate the corresponding mass and magnetic moment using the QCD sum rule method and its extension in the weak electromagnetic field, and study the processes of Z(±)cs to ηcK*, J/ψK, D¯Ds*, and D¯*Ds via three-point sum rules. The numerical values are mZ(±

Intraoperative Collection of Ascitic Fluid With Intra‐ or Postoperative Reinfusion in Ovarian Cancer: Safety and Feasibility of a Roller Pumping Method

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Patients with ovarian cancer often present with massive ascites, leading to significant protein loss during surgical procedures. Although cell‐free concentrated ascites reinfusion therapy (CART) is used in palliative settings to mitigate protein loss, its application in intraoperative settings remains unexplored.
