Sex‐Specific Lasting Metabolome Effects of Adverse Gestational Conditions and Prevention by Myo‐Inositol Supplementation During Suckling

This graphical abstract illustrates the effects of myo‐inositol supplementation during suckling in reducing long‐term metabolic impacts from mild gestational calorie restriction (GCR). Using a metabolomics approach, 164 metabolites were identified, with greater metabolic alterations in males.

ABSTRACT We introduce the nested p$$ p $$‐center problem, a multi‐period variant of the well‐known p$$ p $$‐center problem. Using the nesting concept allows us to obtain solutions consistent over the considered time horizon, that is, facilities that are opened in a given time period stay open for subsequent periods.

Understanding Pollination in Urban Food Production: The Importance of Data Validation and Participant Feedback for Citizen Science Project Design

Urban agriculture depends on insect pollination, but knowledge gaps persist due to difficulties accessing diverse growing spaces. We developed a citizen science approach for monitoring insect visits to crops and compared grower‐collected data to that of a trained researcher while also gathering participant feedback.
