Parallel Load Balancing and Overlay Authentication System for Secure Industrial Network Communications

open access: yesResearch Briefs on Information & Communication Technology Evolution, 2020
On one hand, being a highly self-establishing wireless network with dynamic topology, mobile ad-hoc networks (MANET) are not constrained by limitations of fixed framework, and as a consequence, MANETs are now used increasingly in a wide range of fields ...

HMC‐DSR: An FPGA‐Accelerated Clustered Routing Protocol for Scalable and Energy‐Efficient MANETs

open access: yesEngineering Reports, Volume 8, Issue 4, April 2026.
FPGA‐based HMC‐DSR protocol enhances MANET routing with real‐time, energy‐efficient processing, reducing end‐to‐end delay by 20.7%. Power consumption decreased by 15.8%, making it ideal for energy‐constrained systems. Hardware resource optimization achieved a 31.2% reduction in flip‐flops and 27.4% in slice utilization. Throughput improvement of 19.4%,

Secured Routing in Mobile Ad hoc Networks (MANETs)

open access: yesInternational Journal of Scientific Research in Computer Science, Engineering and Information Technology, 2019
A Mobile Adhoc Network (MANET) is prone to attacks. Adversaries take hold of the network, thus degrading their performance. Various attacks are prevalent in MANET, out of which Byzantine attack plays a vital role. A node or group of nodes present in the routing path between the source and the destination may be compromised due to Byzantine attack.

Understanding the Autonomous Electric Vehicle Cyber Threat Landscape: A Focus on Infrastructure, Threats and Ontology‐Based Modelling

open access: yesEnergy Internet, Volume 3, Issue 1, Page 39-51, April 2026.
ABSTRACT The development of autonomous electric vehicles (AEVs) represents the convergence of two simultaneous automotive revolutions: electric vehicles (EVs) and autonomous vehicles (AVs). AVs require sensors, decision‐making systems and actuation systems to achieve autonomous driving, whereas EVs require intelligent management and real‐time ...

A Novel Two-Terminal Reliability Analysis for MANET

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2013
Mobile ad hoc network (MANET) is a dynamic wireless communication network. Because of the dynamic and infrastructureless characteristics, MANET is vulnerable in reliability. This paper presents a novel reliability analysis for MANET.

FOUR STAGE SECURITY ALGORITHM FOR DATA TRANSFER TO IMPROVE SECURITY IN MANET

open access: yesICTACT Journal on Communication Technology, 2022
Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET) regarded to be a group of mobile nodes that can communicate with others in the absence of network infrastructure. MANET is at high risk due to its basic features, such as peer-to-peer (P2P) architecture; wireless shared ...

Improved malicious node detection method for detecting a bait in an extensive network for getting the maximum throughput

open access: yesIET Communications, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
Abstract Mobile Ad‐hoc Network (MANET) is an ad hoc Wireless subset with a unique dynamic geometry of the system and movable nodes. The MANETs are auto‐organized networks that permit mobility without infrastructure. Specific protocols for MANET routing are provided with these attributes.

A Lightweight, Secure and Reliable Geographic Routing Protocol for Urban VANETs

open access: yesIET Communications, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
This paper proposes a Lightweight Secure and Reliable Geographic Routing (LSRGR) protocol. The protocol operates in two phases: (i) a greedy forwarding strategy with location verification, which leverages key urban routing parameters to select the most reliable forwarder and employs a recovery mechanism against routing failures, and (ii) reliable route
