Dynamic Ring Exploration with (H,S) View
The researches about a mobile entity (called agent) on dynamic networks have attracted a lot of attention in recent years. Exploration which requires an agent to visit all the nodes in the network is one of the most fundamental problems.

Multi-Agent Base Evacuation Support System Using MANET [PDF]
In this paper, we propose an evacuation support system that provides evacuation routes in case of disasters, and verify the usefulness of the system. Current popular wireless communication infrastructure is supported by a series of base stations and one ...

Dynamics and Steady States in excitable mobile agent systems [PDF]
We study the spreading of excitations in 2D systems of mobile agents where the excitation is transmitted when a quiescent agent keeps contact with an excited one during a non-vanishing time.

Selection of mobile agents [PDF]
When a task is assigned to mobile agents, those suitable to perform the task need to be selected according to, not only their application-specific behaviors, but also their mobilities. The focus of current research, however, is on the development of execution platforms and applications for mobile agents and not on methodologies for selection of mobile ...

Phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinase as a target of pathogens—friend or foe?
This graphical summary illustrates the roles of phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinases (PI4Ks). PI4Ks regulate key cellular processes and can be hijacked by pathogens, such as viruses, bacteria and parasites, to support their intracellular replication. Their dual role as essential host enzymes and pathogen cofactors makes them promising drug targets.

We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

mPower: A component-based development framework for multi-agent systems to support business processes [PDF]
One of the obstacles preventing the widespread adoption of multi-agent systems in industry is the difficulty of implementing heterogeneous interactions among participating agents via asynchronous messages.

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

A Note About the Semantics of Delegation [PDF]
In many applications, mobile agents are used by a client to delegate a task. This task is usually performed by the agent on behalf of the client, by visiting various service provider's sites distributed over a network.

SDL based validation of a node monitoring protocol
Mobile ad hoc network is a wireless, self-configured, infrastructureless network of mobile nodes. The nodes are highly mobile, which makes the application running on them face network related problems like node failure, link failure, network level ...
