The agent paradigm is currently attracting much research. A mobile agent is a particular type of agent with the ability to migrate from one host to another, where it can resume its execution. We consider security issues that need to be addressed before multi-agent systems in general, and mobile agents in particular, can be a viable solution for a broad

We make the case for usable mobile security by outlining why usable security in mobile devices is important and why it is hard to achieve. We describe a number of current problems in mobile devices that need usable and secure solutions. Finally, we discuss the characteristics of mobile devices that can actually help in designing usable solutions to ...

Abstract : This project produced a Secure Mobile Network (SMN) system for secure enclaves or virtual networks among mobile workstations, an integrated Mobile-IP/IPSEC system in which Mobile Nodes use 2-way tunnels to securely tunnel packets to the Home Agent. A key focus was tying Mobile-IP and IPSEC directly together.
