Résumé Cet article présente la première étude contemporaine de l'évolution de la villégiature sur les terres privées et publiques du Québec. Notre analyse révèle une importante diminution du nombre de chalets et rend compte des mutations géographiques considérables qu'a connues la villégiature résidentielle depuis 1980.
