Norms and Equivalences for MoCA-30, MoCA-22, and MMSE in the Oldest-Old [PDF]
Abstract Background Cognitive screening is important for the oldest-old (age 90 +). This age group is the fastest growing and has the highest risk of dementia. However, norms and score equivalence for screening tests are lacking for this group.

This paper presents a theoretical model and a platform that allow to describe individual and collective recurrent patterns of behaviour, called respectively roles and organizations, and let agents dynamically choose to create, join or quit groups instanciating these patterns at execution time.

Proceedings of the eighth ACM international workshop on Mobility in the evolving internet architecture, 2013
We present our work on MOCA, a lightweight Mobile Cloud Offloading Architecture, which uses an in-network cloud platform to provide offloading resources. MOCA integrates with existing mobile network architectures without requiring significant changes, and utilizes software defined networking techniques in the data plane to redirect appropriate traffic ...

The Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) is a common cognitive screener for detecting mild cognitive impairment (MCI). However, previously suggested cutoff scores of 26/30 and above is often criticized and lacks racial diversity. The purpose of this study is to investigate the potential influence of race on MoCA classification cutoff score accuracy ...

In 1994, an ambitious project in the multimedia domain was started at the University of Mannheim under the guidance of Prof. Dr. W. Effelsberg. We realized that multimedia applications using continuous media like video and audio data absolutely require access to semantic contents of these media types similar to that for textual and numerical data ...

To establish the diagnostic accuracy of the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) when screening externally validated cognition in Parkinson disease (PD), by comparison with a PD-focused test (Scales for Outcomes in Parkinson disease-Cognition [SCOPA-COG]) and the standardized Mini-Mental State Examination (S-MMSE) as benchmarks.A convenience sample of ...

Proceedings of the 34th ACM/SIGAPP Symposium on Applied Computing, 2019
In this work, we propose a novel contextual advertising platform, called MoCA, which is designed to improve the relevance of in-app advertising in a stand-alone, privacy-protecting manner on mobile devices. MoCA understands the semantics of the current app page and matches semantically relevant ads inside mobile devices.

MOCA: An ORM model for computational accountability
Intelligenza Artificiale, 2019Accountability is often seen as a key notion in distributed systems, both in the human world and in software, on top of which interaction is built, together with the sibling notion of responsibility. However, there is limited support for the specification and use of such concepts in computational settings.
